Women’s Day Dossier: The other view

On March 8, Badische Zeitung, a regional German newspaper from Freiburg, produced an issue completely without male colleagues. For that project, called “The other view,” female editors invited about 20 women who normally do not work as journalists.

Firstly, they helped to choose the news and the pictures. Secondly, along with the editors, they decided how to place them in the paper. Twenty one people participated with a large sum of special articles from and about women. As a consequence, the newspaper received several hundreds of letters, e-mails and calls with positive reactions.
